Description
In addition to the brickwork, we installed the insulation system, Ancon channels, and a robust masonry support system to ensure long-term structural integrity. Our scope also included the provision of forklift drivers, supporting efficient site logistics and material handling throughout the build.

The project involved a feature blockwork wall which was to be turned into a large scale murial as well as a number of lift shafts, external walls and finish brickwork

We were engaged to carry out extensive masonry works as part of the refurbishment of the former House of Fraser building in Cwmbran. Description
A key aspect of the works was the replacement of failing cavity wall ties. We used Helifix remedial ties to stabilise the masonry and restore structural integrity without the need for full wall reconstruction. This approach provided a cost-effective and minimally invasive solution, ensuring long-term durability while preserving the building’s original fabric.

Addison House is one of Cardiff Council’s new state of the art Community Living schemes. The accommodation consists of 44 x 1 or 2 bedroom flats on 5 floors. This project consisted of two types of colour brickwork and contained numerous complex details regarding the fire stopping and balconies.

Like most commercial projects the programme was aggressive but we were able to lay 72,000 blocks in under 6 weeks to complete this project a week earlier than programmed. The external walls were finished with staffordshire blue bricks and coloured mortar to complete the look
